President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy Attends Grain
Terminal Neptune
On 4 July this year, President of Ukraine Volodymyr
Zelenskyy attended the grain terminal Neptune, one of the largest and most
advanced grain terminals in the Black Sea, which had been constructed by the
Ukrainian company MV Cargo and the international corporation Cargill with the
support by the EBRD and IFC.
The President was accompanied by Head of the Office of
the President Andriy Yermak, Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo
Tymoshenko, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii and other
guests at the terminal.
The President drove along berth No. 25 and examined
the motor vehicle unloading station and the weighing station. “We have decided
to show the President how the lorries are weighed by the good-faith terminals,”
noted Andrii Stavnitser, the co-owner of the terminal. Andrii Stavnitser also
reminded the guests of how Neptune had been constructed, and emphasised that
the construction of the grain terminal with the value of USD 150 mln had been
the largest investment project in the national port industry and economic for
the last four years.
As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr
Zelenskyy came to Odesa on 4 July on an official trip. The President attended
the largest marine hub TIC and examined the water area of the Pivdennyi Port
from the tow boat belonging to P&O Maritime Ukraine “P&O Star”.
