Neptune breaks record for the largest vessel processing

In March 2021,
Neptune grain terminal has processed the
largest vessel ever – the bulk cargo ship ‘MARIA G.O’ (the flag of the Marshall
Islands).
According to the terminal's press
service, the deadweight of the
vessel is 87,459 tons, the length – 229 m, the width – 36.8 m. About 74.5 thousand tons of corn were loaded
onto the bulk cargo ship. The cargo
vessel headed for Eastern Asia.
Thus, in terms of its parameters,
the deadweight and workload,
‘MARIA G.O’ vessel has become the largest bulk cargo ship that has been processed by Neptune since the start of its
operation in test mode, i.e. from June 2018.
Previously, the bulk cargo ship
‘Star Suzanna’ was considered
the largest vessel, which was processed at the terminal. In November 2019, 75.36 thousand tons of corn were loaded on
board.
